Privacy Policy
GoSwipe is a local credit-card planning and bookkeeping app. This version does not require an account, connect to a bank, or upload your financial records to a GoSwipe server.
Data stored on your device
The app stores the cards you add, card limits and dates, transaction records, budgets, custom merchants and spending-person labels, app language and appearance preferences, and reminder settings. This information is stored locally on your iPhone so the app can provide bookkeeping, budget, card recommendation and reminder features.
Data collection and tracking
GoSwipe does not sell personal information, use advertising trackers, track you across other companies’ apps or websites, or send your locally entered financial records to us. The app does not read bank accounts, statements or actual card balances.
Notifications
If you enable payment reminders, the app requests iOS notification permission and schedules those reminders locally on your device. If you separately opt in to GoSwipe update notifications, the app sends an APNs device token, preferred app language, time zone, app version and build number to the GoSwipe notification service. This information is used only to deliver and operate card-rule, benefit and important product-update notifications. It is not linked to your name or financial records, is not used for tracking or advertising, and does not include card numbers, transactions, balances or budgets. Turning off GoSwipe update notifications removes the current device token from the notification service.
Deleting your data
Because this version has no GoSwipe account or cloud backup, deleting the app removes its locally stored data. Back up any records you need before deleting the app.
Card information
Card reward rates and benefits are reference information based on public issuer materials. Issuer terms and your bank statement remain authoritative. GoSwipe does not receive your card number or banking credentials. Card faces shown in the app are original GoSwipe illustrations for product identification, not physical cards issued by banks or direct copies of issuer website artwork. GoSwipe is not affiliated with, partnered with, sponsored by or endorsed by any bank, issuer or payment network. Related names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Changes and contact
If future versions add accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising or bank connections, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those features are released.
